Study of real numbers, exponents, roots and radicals; polynomials, first and second-degree equations and inequalities; functions and graphs. Required of students in Math Track A, i.e., students of , Applied Science, Accountancy, Business Administration, Business Information Systems, or Health Services Management, who have scored an ACT Math score of 19 or higher, a COMPASS Pre-Algebra score of 59 or higher, or an SAT Math score of 460 or higher.
