This course is intended to be a survey of the major chronic and noncommunicable diseases on the local, state, national and global stages. Focuses on the risk factors and burden of chronic and noncommunicable diseases. Each chronic disease will include a discussion on the epidemiologic features including demographics, risk factors, prevention, treatment, early detection, and control of the disease.
