The course provides essential information that provides knowledge of growth and development concepts, prevention and early detection of health needs, and strategies to obtain optimal health and the incorporation of the nursing process while caring across the lifespan. The course also focuses on high-risk behaviors and lifestyle choices that can affect the client’s health care status. The cultural diversity of clients is embraced and appreciated across the lifespan and all settings. This course involves psychomotor skills acquisitions in the clinical setting. Fall
