This course explores the fundamental legal principles pertinent to for-profit and nonprofit organizations. Besides the general administration of business and nonprofit law, specific topics include property, intellectual property, torts, contracts, insurance, agency, negotiable instruments, business organizations, security relations, and trade regulations. Students practice decision-making by applying relevant laws and principles to analyses of cases.
