Academic Organization

Bluefield State University is organized into four schools: 

• W. Paul Cole, Jr. College of Business;
• College of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences;
• College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM);
• College of Nursing and Allied Health. Courses and degree programs are offered in Bluefield and Beckley.
• Many of the courses required in all degree programs are available via the Internet.
