Designed as an independent study continuation of NASC 200L: Introduction to Scientific Research Laboratory where students gain further research experience in the laboratories of program faculty located on BSC’s main campus. Course credit usually equates into 40-45 hours of research activity and 30 hours of research training per credit hour. Independent Laboratory Research courses involve hands-on benchwork and laboratory techniques that are non-clinical in nature. Since the nature of research projects is individual for each student, this course shall have a different CRN for each student. Independent Study. Fall, Spring
