Focuses on the application of statistical techniques to assist business decision making. Areas of inquiry include: descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, basic probability concepts, the nature of hypothesis testing, sample size determinations, confidence intervals, t-tests, analysis of variance (ANOVA), chi square, correlation, and simple and multiple regression. Emphasis is placed on the use of statistical software packages.
