This course focuses on the tools and techniques used to analyze, measure, and optimize communication strategies in public relations. Students will learn to work with data from social media, digital marketing, and traditional media to assess audience engagement, campaign performance, and overall effectiveness. By the end of the course, students will have hands-on experience in using analytics to drive informed PR strategies, demonstrating the value of data-driven decision-making in enhancing communication impact.
(Each COMM course will include Service-Learning and students will serve as a reporter/editor of the Breaking Blues, an online department newspaper). (Spring)
