The purpose of this course is to help students develop their skills and knowledge in compensation and benefits. Topics covered in the course include benefits, Affordable Health Care Act, overview of philosophies of compensation, total compensation, global and domestic compensation issues, job analysis, compensation analysis, market surveys, and survey data analysis. Students will be provided with the opportunity to obtain the skills necessary to develop and implement effective compensation and benefits strategies that attract, retain, and motivate employees.
