COSC 326 - Data Structures & Algorithms I

This is an introduction to data structures used in computer systems and applications. Students study arrays, queues, collections ordered and sorted, linked lists, and binary trees, as well as software engineering, testing, recursion, and object-oriented programming. Students use a high-level programming language, such as C++ or Java, and the focus is on object-oriented design and development. Applications involve such techniques as sorting, searching, recursion, expression evaluation, and memory management.
