ELET 205 - AC/DC Machinery

A study of the physical and operational characteristics of direct current motors and generators; stepper motors; transformers; single-phase and polyphase induction motors. Introduction and applications of variable frequency drives will be presented. Laboratory experiments are used to demonstrate the behavior of the devices under various operating conditions.
