Lecture: Students will learn the concepts, methods and tools of molecular biology experimental design, data collection, analysis and interpretation and summarizing of data displays. Laboratory Coursework: Students learn various common techniques used in the molecular biology laboratory environment. Students will gain an appreciation for why methods are chosen for given research questions and theory behind the methods. Students will utilize molecular biology equipment in the core laboratory.
